Introduction
Choosing eye and face protection in the laboratory is often a challenge. Its a challenge for a variety of reasons:
1. Lab workers (including teachers and students) and their
management (administrators) may not understand the relevant
regulations and standards.
2. They may not be able to correctly identify the various types of
eye protection devices. In particular, distinguishing between
some types of goggles and between some goggles and
spectacles can be difficult.
